Restarting ACSLS

To restart the Automated Cartridge System Library Software (ACSLS) Software, simply perform the following steps.

  1. Log in as root
  2. In a terminal window, or at the shell prompt, enter 
    # reboot
    NOTE Note: If the automatic startup on reboot option was enabled during ACSLS installation, ACSLS is initiated automatically when the server system is rebooted. If this is the case, go to Step 5.
  3. Log in as acsss
  4. In a terminal window or at the shell prompt, enter 
    # rc.acsss
    It takes a few seconds to start the database and return to the shell prompt.
  5. When the shell prompt returns, log out.
  6. Log back in as acssa to use the ACSLS software.
