Problems connecting to the NetWorker Management Console

Have you ever tried connecting to your NetWorker Management Console (NMC) using your favourite browser to the default url whether it is Solaris, AIX, Linux or Windows and you suddenly get an 404 error.

If you can't connect to the default url http://<nmc_server>:9000, try appending the gconsole.jnlp to the url (for example: http://<nmc_server>:9000/gconsole.jnlp)
