How to run SPcollect on a Celerra box

This article provides the simple steps needed to gather SPCollects from a Celerra box.

Procedure

  1. Open a putty seeion to the IP address of the Celerra box
  2. Login (default: nasadmin/nasadmin)
  3. Change directory upto the nas tools directory 
    cd ../nas/tools
  4. Run the get_spcollect command 
    ./get_spcollect
    It may take a few minutes ti collect the necessary data and create the spcollect.zip file
  5. Open an ssh session with winSCP, change directory to NAS/VAR/LOG
  6. Transfer the file locally
