How to unplug keyboard on a running Solaris system
If you simply unplug a keyboard under a running Solaris system, you'll most probably end up with your system at the ok prompt.
To change it from the command line before you pull the keyboard out, type the following as root:
root@solaris# kbd -a disable
When you've reconnected the keyboard to the Solaris system, type:
root@solaris# kbd -a enable
