EMC NetWorker 7.5 hotfixes

EMC released the latest cumulative hotfixes for it's NetWorker 7.5 product suite last night. NetWorker cumulative updates combines various individual hotfixes that might have an impact on customer production environments.

Build Information

The current cumulative hotfix is NetWorker Build 671. It was released on November 7, 2011.

Cumulative fixes

This package contains the following cumulative fixes

NW129444 nsrinfo Core dump on Solaris NetWorker server when run against Windows 2008 Clients
NW129811 AFTD percentage capacity setting set to value other than 0 causes savegrp to hang
NW130475 nsrmmd infinite loop when "AFTD Percentage Capacity" is reached or if "File System" is full
NW131825 Scanner fails with error: .unexpected file number.
NW133031 NMC upgrade to Apache 2.2.21 due to Apache vulnerability CVE-2011-3192
NW130276 savegrp hangs waiting on session
NW128816 NMC compatibility issues with Java 7 and Java 1.6.0_27 and above

Installation and de-installation instructions

Binaries included as part of this hotfix may be identified using the "what" command on UNIX systems or by examining the file properties on Windows systems.

The installation and de-installation methods differ based upon the OS platform being used on the NetWorker Server.
